Crowley was agitated that he was unable to get into the only remaining space and edged his car slowly towards Mr Cox ñ knocking him to the ground, but not causing any injuries. The victim's son, Craig Cox, then noticed what had happened and began attacking the driver of the car. During the scuffle, in which Mr Cox Junior bit a chunk out of Crowley's nose, the car continued to move. A motorist who run over a man three times and then had his nose bitten off by his son as revenge has been jailed for 14 months.

John Crowley carried out the brutal assault on Peter Cox in November when he refused to get out of the way of his classic green Mercedes 350.

He had wanted to park in the last spot but Mr Cox was saving it for his son, who owned a legal high store nearby in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Crowley, 44, edged his car slowly towards the victim, who refused to move and was knocked to the ground.
