Don’t ask me!

Don’t ask me!

A Pulitzer-winning reporter is writing an in-depth piece – about you. What are the three questions you really hope she doesn’t ask you?

  1. What are you most ashamed of? -Yes, everyone has done things in the past, that they probably look back on and think ‘why?’ but things like that shouldn’t be made public. Everyone makes mistakes and people could easily judge you for one little thing you have done. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
  2. What are your thoughts on animal testing? – Animals are of my main passions and I am against animal testing 100%. This one simple question will probably end up in the form of an essay and if there is someone nearby who disagrees, there will be an awkward argument. There are just some things I am so passionate about, that I cannot accept any alternative views to and this is one of them!
  3. What movies were you disappointed by? – This is where I am extremely controversial – The main movies to disappoint me were Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Titanic… which are also some of the films, which have the strongest fan bases!

Mutants and Hybrids.

Mutants and Hybrids.

If you were one part human, two parts something else — another animal, a plant, an inanimate object — what would the other two parts be?

All I know is that I would definitely pick my two parts to be from animals, as who would want to be part plant or part inanimate object, when there are so many animals to choose from?

1. The first part I would pick is the wings of an eagle. Being able to fly, would be like having a superpower. You could see all the sights, get into places for free, such as Alton towers, reach the top of places such as Big Ben and The Eiffel Tower and ‘feel the wind underneath your wings.’

2. The second part I would pick is the eyes of a cat. They are great for hunting (not that I would hunt) and are great for seeing in the dark! Plus cats have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen!

Game of Groans

Game of Groans

Think about an object, an activity, or a cultural phenomenon you really don’t like. Now write a post (tongue in cheek or not — your call!) about why it’s the best thing ever.

Lord of the rings.

I really hate love this film for so many different reasons!

Have you ever watched a film where it ended too soon and you wish it could have gone on for longer? Well you should watch Lord of the rings, because it is one of the longest films that I have ever sat down to watch and it sure won’t end too soon! In fact it will go on and on and on…

For me it also acts like a lullaby, which is great for if I would like an afternoon nap, or if I’m having trouble sleeping. All I have to do is put Lord of the rings on and within 10 minutes I am fast asleep!

And to make it even better… There are sequels!

Mind Reader

Mind Reader

Who’s the last person you saw before reading this prompt? Whether it’s a family member, a coworker, or a total stranger, write a post about what that person is thinking right now.

So the last person I saw was my cousin, as she decided that she wanted to get out of the house and go for a drink at 8 last night. I know what she’s thinking right now and I know what she was thinking last night too. She’s thinking about how her parents are falling apart right before her eyes and she’s frustrated, because if her dad tried harder and stopped hiding things from her mum, they could possibly make this work. She’s thinking about moving out to some quiet place, where she doesn’t have to deal with constant disagreements and tension and she’s thinking about how she doesn’t like to see her mum so upset. She knows for certain where she will end up if her parents split, but she’s not sure of the effect it will leave on her unstable dad and if her mum could ever love anyone else again, because her dad is all she knows. Who will get the dog? Who will get the house? Will her dad go off the rails? Would they all be happier?

Personality Test – INFJ Personality

The INFJ type is believed to be very rare (less than 1 percent of the population) and has an unusual set of traits. Even though their presence can be described as very quiet, INFJ personalities usually have many strong opinions, especially when it comes to issues they consider really important in life. If an INFJ is fighting for something, this is because they believe in the idea itself, not because of some selfish reasons. INFJ personalities are drawn toward helping those in need: they may rush to the place of a major disaster, participate in rescue efforts, do charity work, etc. INFJs see this as their duty and their purpose in life.

These tendencies are also strengthened by the fact that INFJ personalities have a unique combination of idealism and decisiveness. This means that their creativity and imagination can be directed toward a specific goal. Few other personality types have this trait, and this is one of the most important reasons why many INFJs are able to eventually realize their dreams and make a lasting positive impact.INFJs are masters of written communication, with a distinctively smooth and warm language. In addition, the sensitivity of INFJs allows them to connect to others quite easily. Their easy and pleasant communication can often mislead bystanders, who might think that the INFJ is actually a very sociable person.

INFJs should be careful to avoid “overheating” as their zeal and determination can sometimes get out of hand. As Introverts, INFJs need to have some “alone time” every once in a while; otherwise their internal energy reserves will get depleted really quickly. If this happens, the INFJ may surprise everybody around them by withdrawing from all their activities for a while, and since other people usually see INFJs as always friendly and sociable, this can leave them both surprised and concerned. INFJs take great care of other people’s feelings and expect others to return the favor. Unsurprisingly, people with this personality type are very sensitive and vulnerable to conflicts. Even the most rational INFJs may find it quite difficult to not take criticism personally—this is the INFJ’s Achilles’ heel.

Honestly… this is surprisingly correct!

My ‘anywhere’ door.

My ‘anywhere’ door.

When picking my gadget, I ruled out a time machine straight away and ended up stuck between an anywhere door and an invisibility helmet. Teleportation has always intrigued me, so I was always leaning more towards this idea, but what was pulling me towards the invisibility helmet was that I could take it anywhere with me and it wouldn’t be affected if I move house!

I still ended up choosing the anywhere door though, because that would allow me to travel the world, avoid travel sickness and save on fuel/travel costs! Although with an invisibility helmet, I could get into places I’m not supposed to be in, my anywhere door would allow me to enter straight into these places without having to travel there first! And if you think about it, I will be able to save up for an invisibility helmet in time with all the fuel/travel costs that I’m saving from my anywhere door! Imagine being able to visit and know what is happening in area 51!

Birthday Presents!

So on Sunday I turned 20 years old! and have finally, reluctantly left my teenage years. Three of my birthday presents haven’t arrived yet. One is True Blood Season 6 DVD, one is my ring being fixed and the last one is a surprise! But irrelevant of that, I still received some really amazing presents.

As all of my presents from my mum haven’t arrived yet, she treated me to this jacket when we were out together on a shopping trip, despite the fact that she wasn’t too keen on it, but she could see that I really loved it and she did agree that it was me, once I tried it on!
