It’s my party!

It’s my party!

You hear about all of these sweet sixteenths and posh dinner parties where people all wear expensive clothes. Personally I prefer small parties, with my closest friends and family, because I can then enjoy myself more, as I am around people that I feel comfortable with and can be myself around.

I am more into gigs than partying, so I’d have some acoustic sessions in my back garden with my favourite bands, where we can all sit around and sing along or even have a little dance. The bands I would pick would be My Chemical Romance, The Pretty Reckless, Paramore, Imagine Dragons, You Me at Six, Panic! at The Disco, Fall Out Boy and The Script.

It would be when the sun is shining and there would be a table of cakes and sandwiches, as well as a little barbeque going on. There would be some alcohol, but not much as I don’t drink, but the drinks available would mostly be cans of fizzy drinks and orange and passion fruit J20s. The bands can then let loose after their performances and join in with the party, where I can talk to my favourite members and gather some autographs and photos with¬†my favourite bands.

Can’t get it out of my head

Can’t get it out of my head

Wow so after writing this it has all disappeared… so I’ll start again…

Been an addict of the Sims for years now, but at least it’s a lot healthier than drugs eh?

It started off with The Sims 2 and has now progressed to The Sims 3 when I ended up buying The Sims 3, The Sims 3 University and The Sims 3 Supernatural all in the same day. I could happily sit and play this game from the moment I wake up until the moment I fall asleep and if I get an urge to play it, I rush home as fast as I can.

After my laptop breaking I am currently feeling lost, but in the hope of seeing what I can save of my game I am currently downloading Origin to my other laptop!

R.I.P laptop

I have had my first ever laptop since I was fifteen and it is officially on it’s last legs. The screen is jumbled to the point I couldn’t ever try to fix it if I knew how.

I have not only lost my computer but also the Sims 3. I am addicted to the Sims and some days I will play I from the moment I wake up until the moment I fall asleep and due to this I have also lost my families on there ūüė¶

I have also lost a story I was writing. A love story about my nan and grandad. I’m usually good at remembering to save things on a memory stick, but the one time my laptop has actually broke I didn’t save it! So I’m off now to mourn for my laptop that has been with me for four years and taught me many things including how to play the Sims!

Take a chance

Take a chance

The chance that I took was back when I first started secondary school. My mum and I were close to being homeless, so we made the leap to move in with her new boyfriend, to try and have a life of stability, (they did stay together for eleven years.)

Due to the fact that we moved house, I left the area, meaning that I didn’t get into the school that I wanted to be in and had to consider the thought of having to make new friends. This was not easy for me, always the shy girl in the corner and I was so terrified of being on my own in this new school. The school that I wanted to be in was due to my friends being there and nothing more, but the school I was put into was considered academically the best in the area I lived.

I started at this new school, not knowing anybody and trying to fit in, whilst my mum went to meetings to try and get me moved school. Just as I began making friends, we got a letter to say that I got into the other school. This was where I had to make the big decision… Do I stay where I am, where I’m making new friends and where I will have a great education? or do I move to be with my friends? I chose the first option.

I came out of school with eleven GCSE’s, an A level and a BTEC, whereas a lot of my friends from the other school came out with around¬†7 GCSEs each. I didn’t make any friends for life at school, but as I got older and saw my friends also get older, we all changed and I realised that¬†they became the type of people that I wouldn’t have stayed friends with in the real world anyway. I took a chance and it turned out to be for the best.
